My 5 favourite iPhone apps of all time.

#5 Boxee Remote – a simple remote control for a simple media center application (which works on any platform, the media center, that is, not the remote). (Free)

It has changed the way I browse my media. It has two modes: Gesture and Buttons, so you can either use gestures or press virtual buttons on the touchscreen.

#4 MotionX GPS. The BEST GPS Application I’ve come across so far. Mind you, it sometimes has problems looking for the satellites, but most of the time it works fine. ($2.99)

#3 Amazon Kindle. Simply the best book application. Even though I don’t live in the US and can’t use it to it’s full potential, it is a brilliant thing when looking at what to buy (reading the samples). (Free)

#2 eBuddy. This is a new application, but it’s fully 3.0 compatible, so it can take advantage of the push-notification system. It is, honestly, the best FREE IM client i’ve found. (Free)

#1 Simply the best Application on the App Store: Shazam! Listening to the radio and a good song comes on. You really want to know the title… and you can’t find it out anywhere, nowadays. But now you can! Put your iPhone near the speaker and press the “Tag Now” button. In fact, I’ve used shazam while writing this TWICE already! (Free)

Honorable mention: Grindr X – so that cruising iHomosexuals can find each other. (Mentioned on Top Gear, no actual experience with neither the application nor iHomosexuals)
